What do you give to people who have nothing? What do you give to those who were given some ugly circumstance to deal with? Many of them are clinging to a myth, and a promise that they will go to a place where they won't need a wheelchair. They will be smart, healthy and good-looking. They will be ideal.
Is there any amount of therapy, or a drug, that will make them feel whole and restored? Is there anything that can compensate for the ugliness of their truth?
I hope that they will somehow know ecstasy in this world. I hope we all do because none of us are ideal.
