I took an informal survey among some of my real world friends. They said I wasn't arrogant. I've been pondering on it, and I have a theory. I think people who are insecure may confuse self-confidence with arrogance.
Also, only one person has ever accused me of lacking empathy. I ask way too many questions about people's lives when I speak to them for that to hold water. I am geniunely interested in what they tell me. Well, unless they start talking about their Hummel collection. Also, if somebody shows me an injury, I will get that weird "ball thing" where it feels like my scrotum tightens so quickly that my testicles are going to "billiard" into my stomach, and knock my last meal into my esophagus.
