The truth isn't always good enough. The truth doesn't always win the battle. Some people are offended by it, and will use any means available to defeat it. They will even argue that there may be more than one truth. There can't be. The truth is singular.
The ring of truth is pervasive. It will ring and ring until the toll is eventually, grudgingly answered. I've had to admit the truth. It is a humbling experience. It is also liberating. Few things feel better than letting go of a lie.
