For every action there are plenty of people who are willing to criticize it.
I have to go start my truck, warm it up, do my paperwork, and leave for Michigan tonight. Last week was so messed up that I have to begin my workweek early in order to recover. I am so looking forward to another night of driving through darkest Michigan. I am headed toward Detroit with a load of gum, and there are very few hospitable places to stop. Once I pass the Flying J on I-96 near Lansing, there are only a couple of rest areas (pickle parks) and a Meijer's parking lot or two. I just can't warm up to Meijer's lots. You have to park really far away from the store in order to keep the managers from bothering you.
The way it looks now, I will have to take my ten hour break from 8 am untill 6 pm in the northwest suburbs of Detroit. At least I will be sleeping. It would be interesting though if I could hookup with a car or a comrade and daytrip into Windsor. I've never seen native Canucks in their natural habitat. Do they wear clothing?
